Placing this over the compass from the synthetic eye image, the slash crosses at the 22nd hatchmark (counting from the 12 position).

Placing 22 after nowheremen.net/ revealed the timer and 22 profiles of various researchers and scientists who had met unfortunate ends.

Following expiration of this timer, the DIC_ challenge was unveiled.

NOTE: Users could also arrive at the same conclusion by dividing the width of the video by the height. This revealed the video to be in the format of 2.2 / 1 or 2.2. Multiplying by 10, this would bring users to 22.
